I have a select that has a fixed width in left menu. This select have two options in it with following texts: “Castellano” and “CatalĂ ”.
With the given width you can only read “Cat” and “Esp”. The other letters become hidden because the select width is not enough. I would like that the other letters could be showed under three first letters. An example:

    Cas
    tell
    ano

    Cat
    alĂ

Is there any way in css to force it?

    Thanks in advance.

Yep, but this will depend on the existing code. Setting the width style may help.

You may want to show a reduced example in codepen or something similar so we can see the problem though.
