Hi there,
First of all, I got like, 1% experience with Javascript.
I’m using the Anythingslider plug-in to slide my content. It’s really a fantastic plug-in, however when I validate my website in W3C the following piece of code seems to be invalid:
')
I don’t understand it, what do I have to do to make it “clean”?
When I delete the tag, it works perfectly without being invalid, however I don’t thinks it’s there just for fun without being functional.
Help needed,
Nick
Anyone?
Hi Sn1ckerrr!
Yeah that line is meant to load in a copy of jQuery from your files if the Google copy of jQuery isn’t available (which may be never or if you are browsing offline). If you need to have your page valid, then delete it.
A lot of the demo pages for AnythingSlider don’t validate because of the embedded video code which I copied and pasted straight from YouTube, Vimeo, etc.
Thanks Mottie! Now I understand.
I think that’s because my page is XHTML and not XHTML5 ;)
But anyway, the problem is solved!
