Looks pretty exciting, I’m getting well into responsive design and this looks like the way forward…. just need to implement it on my own sites next! ;)
October 26, 2011 at 3:06 pm #89712aoeuiParticipantread the article too huh?
http://coding.smashingmagazine.com/2011/10/25/rapid-prototyping-for-any-device-with-foundation/had no time to do so yet :]
October 26, 2011 at 3:08 pm #89713TheDocMemberI’ve mentioned it a few times before, but I’ve been using Bootstrap in a number of projects lately. Not so much the grid but all of the other wonderful styles and solutions.
October 26, 2011 at 3:44 pm #89717aoeuiParticipantI can only recommend BootStrap
used on 2 projects already and is really goodhttp://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/
http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/javascript.html
(added page about using .JS recently)solo small page like this took me to redesign from ugly to sort of better
took me few minutes :)

I sure recommend it!
Cheers.
April 28, 2014 at 10:03 am #168786shawn78ParticipantYes in fact there is a market place for it now called foundation deck
here is the linkAugust 7, 2014 at 11:11 pm #178233hussainieatcssParticipantI have been using Zurb Foundation for more than a year. I have even created step by step tutorials on using zurb foundation 5 framework using 3 real time examples.
Here you go: http://ieatcss.com/zurb-foundation-framework.html
I am not saying foundation is better than bootstrap, I have used bootstrap before. I just feel like using foundation is easier for my projects compared to other CSS frameworks.
August 7, 2014 at 11:37 pm #178241__ParticipantSince this has been brought back from the dead, I’ll just chime in and say that the shine wore off. Not using it anymore.
August 12, 2014 at 11:36 am #178760Alan CParticipantUse it at work quite a bit. Its really useful for pushing projects out quickly, however at times especially when templating it feels really limited. Also the top-bar is their best menu and its so impossibly annoying to modify that I wonder why I even bother.
August 12, 2014 at 11:47 am #178763nixnerdParticipantSince this has been brought back from the dead…
The Arch Wiki has a term for this.

I like it.
Sometimes I wish we could add a function to automatically close threads after a set period.
August 12, 2014 at 11:57 am #178765shaneismeParticipantWell a thread like this it might be good to revisit it from time to time.
I personally use a Frankenstein-like version of Foundation, Bootstrap and my own stuff for a zero-code startup.
I like Foundation’s grid and visibility classes in the latest version.
March 17, 2015 at 2:39 pm #198410webdevjimParticipantJust started using the foundation framework. Mostly for the easy grid layout.
I noticed the orbit slider is not working anymore.
The site: http://www.hontsdesigns.com (excuse the mess testing redesigning the site)
Is there suggested alternatives to the orbit slider?
March 27, 2015 at 4:28 am #199077Sven SchneiderParticipantI didn’t know orbit isn’t working anymore but I can recommend slick by Ken Wheeler. it’s awesome and i’m using it on my own site. you can get it here: http://kenwheeler.github.io/slick/
