    Howdy,

So I picked up a Dell U2713HM Display and would like to rotate the monitor vertically. Any ideas on how I can accomplish this?

    My Setup:
    15″ Mid 2012 Macbook Pro, NVIDIA 650M 512MB Mac OSX v10.8.3

    I’ve tried:
System Preferences -> Displays -> and theres nothing there. If I hold down option it just says Detect Display

    DELL U2713HM:
    Resolution: 2560 x 1440 @ 60 Hz
    Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888)
    Main Display: Yes
    Mirror: Off
    Online: Yes
    Rotation: Supported
    Connection Type: DisplayPort
    Television: Yes

    I’ve also tried,
“I managed to fix my issue by removing the /Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver.plist and restarting. On restart the displays were redetected and rotation started working correctly again”
    from: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4354987

but I can’t seem to find com.apple.windowserver.plist in my library folder…

Anyone else sharing this problem? Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Alex
