    I am very green to altering code or css to my website, I have placed the Anythingslider code between the head area as instructed. What I would like to know is how can I make the slider appear on my site exactly in the place I want it, not just where it ends up.

    All you need to do is put the slider html anywhere on the page you want to place it. Here is a basic layout:
