    Hello

    I’m having a problem getting the background.png to display in IE8. Problem appears to be specific to that file & to IE8 as the other two .png files (midground & foreground) display without issue & can be seen scrolling across the page.
    I have tried changing the format of the file to gif, jpg & have also saved it with the transparency on & off & still no luck.
    Have also tried all compatibility view modes

    Works perfectly in all other browsers (FF, Safari, Chrome, IE9)

    I’m very new to web design & really don’t know how to fix this. Not sure whether IE8 doesn’t like the CSS applied or a Javascript problem.

    Any help appreciated.

    Any body care to have a stab at what the problem might be here? I’m still at a loss.
