Ok, im working on my project for school, AS3 Flash game. I’ve been done with the game for a while and now im just doing flourishes on the website. Our professor wants us to display our ActionScript code (similar to javascript && java syntax) on our website.

So, i figured i would hone in on my jquery skills and build something in which i would search my code tags for keywords than change their color depending on what keyword it is.

Somewhat like when you add code/pre tags in comments here. I looked at the source js file that chris uses ‘prettify.js’ yeah, hence i dont want to reinvent the wheel.

Is there anything out there that can get me started with this? Hard coding tags on keywords is not an option because ive got over 1k likes of code and, well, im just not going to do that lol…

I know stuff like this exists, i just am having a hard time finding it.

My site for the project is static by the way…

Well, in my searches i found a 100% free plugin, looks fairly simple.
