Re: new site need some feed back

Hey,

Congrats with getting your site online, one of the annoying things about web design is getting the final product on the internet, and running, so hands down for you managing to do that, sometimes when developing a site it can be annoying because you want it just perfect.

Okay, so, a few things I wanted to mention regarding the design..

1. Navigation
Where is the menu? (oh…at the bottom, found it…) – Yeah, the first thing I thought of was…"Where is the menu?" – Then I came across it at the bottom, it kind of blends in with what we’d normally know as the copyright area, so I wasn’t looking for a main menu (usually just a repeated, or shortened copy) at the bottom. I was beginning to think it was just a one page site. So how about getting the menu placed up the top too, or on the left above/below the square banner box.

2. Translation Area
Perhaps have the translation icons centered, or at the bottom where the menu is now..It doesn’t do the site any aesthetic favors.

3. Resizing Issue (You mentioned..)
Hey, this is down to how you’ve floated everything and set it out, you haven’t strictly made a left hand side ("column") and a right main "column", I’d suggest having a look at these layouts and see the css code to get an idea of how it’s done properly, this will solve your problem if you have a look over these files, have a go yourself at it and learn from it, and if you get stuck implementing them, ask back again here in the CSS Help & Troubleshooting forum;

Keep up the good work and let us know how you get on with adjusting a few things, but very well done for getting it up and online :) It takes me ages to get something up I’m personally happy with.
