ok.
It seems that the "big image" solution is applicable. My client apparently doesn’t mind the extra load time.
Now the question is more about the relationship between my .post img and .post p
Here is how the basic layout will be:

The big image will vary in width and the p will have a fixed width and will be floating right of the image.
This is basic html, but I can’t seem to make it work with wp. The post content (img and p) seems unseperable.
Usually I would clear the floats between the images and the text, but i can’t figure it out with the php…
Any help with this would be much appreciated.
