I didn’t get started yet as I’m still designing my theme but I had an idea and wanted to know if maybe this might work also?

Create a new page which would be your coming soon page, go into settings and set that page as a static home page. The coming soon page would be the main so people can only see that while you work on the other pages like where your blog posts will be etc then once done, change it back to posts or what ever?

Sorry it’s really late and not thinking clear, just writing what came to my mind lol.

Anyway would this work also?
