Downloaded the created favicon.ico file to my computer
Uploaded the created favicon.ico to my root directory: http://www.bornsquishy.com/favicon.ico which shows up in the favicon location when you visit the link.
Inserted the following code in my header.php:
After some poking around on google I found the following Favicon Validator (and others) and it tells me everything is good to go as well.
I should also point out that although my favicon doesn’t show up, the wordpress favicon is gone and there’s a box with a dotted border in it’s place.
Not sure if this is your problem but some times I find you either have to visit the image directly and then go back to your site for it to display or clear your browser cache.
