I’m getting more into mobile website development, and it occurred to me that I haven’t really been cross browser testing anything… typically I’ve just been testing on the latest iPhone, and my personal Android phone. So my question is, what all mobile browsers should I be looking at? Are there certain mobile browser versions that had significant updates I should be looking at? Is it worth it to check out the several 3rd party mobile browsers (Opera mini, Firefox mobile, Chrome mobile, etc).
At least app wise, I think the consensus is to support Android 1.5+, and iOS latest version and previous 2 versions. I really have no idea about mobile websites though…
here’s a breakdown of the ideal testing set up:

if you dont already own a ton of devices or dont have the budget to get them, take a look at http://www.browserstack.com
they’re adding a ton of mobile browsers/devices to their testing app.
Thanks! That first link was exactly what I was looking for, and should help out a ton.
