Anyone have any idea why my site is a mess in IE and aligning to the left but not in any other browser. I can’t see anything wrong with the CSS.
I don’t have IE handy, but after briefly looking at your code, you may want to try adding overflow:hidden to your main-wrapper.
When everything is floated within a wrapper, you need to set a width and an overflow. Not sure if this will be a solution, but may help you out with some other issues.
It didn’t resolve the issue but thanks anyway, I have added it.
Anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks Paulie_D but no luck, this is a right pain! :-(
I think I may have found the culprit. After running it through the validator, it looks like the fact that you have comments before the DOCTYPE is throwing the page into Quirks mode in IE. Cleaning up the errors usually fixes my problems.
Hope this helps!
takeiteasy04 you are my hero. Problem solved! Quite a difficult one to spot as well. Well done!
