How do you make a div the full size of a page even when the page is wider than the screen and scrolls? 100%, auto and inherit seemed to be all the same width. Thanks
Perhaps you can demo the issue in Codepen.io as I’m not seeing an issue.

It would be nice if when you click on a submit button the error message were in the center and the blue focus border stretched across the whole page but with some padding as it does now

I would offer that this issue is being thought of backwards. The error message is 100% of the screen width. It’s the table that’s pushing outside the content of the page. Given that there’s too much data to show on most screens, you may either wish to remove some columns, or look in to something like Bootstrap responsive tables.
