Hi all,
I just watched Video #7 http://css-tricks.com/video-screencasts/7-three-state-menu/ on creating a state menu.
I’m trying to figure out how to use a similar technique in WordPress. http://rmss.fabianross.com/
I’m using live text for the menu and have applied a background image on the "rollover" state. I would like that same background image to display when the given menu item is the active page. Since WordPress doesn’t assign an ID to the <body> tag as in Chris’ tutorial the above method doesn’t work.
Does anyone have any suggestion on how to make this work using WordPress.
Apostrophe,
Thanks for the tips I will give them a try and see how it works.
Jerry
I just found podcast #36 http://css-tricks.com/video-screencasts/36-current-nav-highlighting-using-php-to-set-the-body-id/
It answered my questions and the affect is working now.
Thanks,
jr
Just had the same issue setting an active state for my WordPress menu.
Thanks apostrophe, your code worked like a charm!
