    Using Chris’s great tutorial on how to implement a design into WordPress I attempted to take a design into WordPress without hacking or fighting another theme to do it.

    This is a personal site and although I like how it came out I am always open to hear what others think may need to change. I did notice that the bottom blue area where my footer sits looks strange in Safari with the PNG having transparency issues with the background color. That will be fixed eventually.

    I am going to be adding more content soon so there is limited posts at this time, design wise where do you think I could improve? Type? Imagery? I had just purchased a Wacom tablet and fell in love with the ability to illustrate so I am sure I will share those in there future.

    Enough I am digressing!

    I like design. The only think i would change is background and footer color depending on new background.

    Change the background of the footer, the background on the main content area, or the background on the whole site (clouds)?

    Interesting, I liked that background; gave the page a nice cool warm mix of colors. What don’t you like about it Volks?
