I am building my first customized WP site and I am having trouble with the images not showing up correctly. They all show as missing.
I am using the following code for image paths:
/images/bay_breeze_article_photo.jpg"
My concern is that the root url for the site is actually a sub-directory of the parent site and has the /~baybr/ tacked on the end. If I am doing the paths correctly, why aren’t the images showing up? I have confirmed that the images are on the server. For example the full path to the image in question is: http://opteracreative.com/~baybr/images/bay_breeze_article_photo.jpg
Thanks for the help.
Hi Shaneisme,
That works if the images are part of the theme, but these image are outside of the them and part of the content. Correct?
I get this:
/home/opteracr/public_html
which confirms my concern.
When I add this, it works: /~baybr/images
When I move it to the live site, it will be easier.
Thanks for the help.
