hello , I have a question about Media queries .
I’m using media queries on my website as I copied the page ( https://css-tricks.com/snippets/css/media-queries-for-standard-devices/ ) but something is not giving time to media queries.
I’m testing the site on a tablet with Android that correctly reads the css for orientation to landscape , but does not read the orientation to portrait.
I changed the css leaving for :
@ media only screen and ( orientation : landscape ) { / * My code * / }
but with this change the desktop reads this code and does the layout change, what should happen only with the tablet . Would you like some help to solve this problem because I’ve searched the internet and the tutorials available to teach media queries, all use the code the same way , which is how I am using. below I posted media queries I’m using:
@media only screen and (min-device-width : 768px) and (max-device-width : 1024px) and (orientation : landscape) { / * My code * / }
@media only screen and (min-device-width : 768px) and (max-device-width : 1024px) and (orientation : portrait) { / * My code * / }
We’d need to see a link.
thanks for replying Paulie_D.
The link is below, the media query is applied this page only. the css file that contains the Media queries is “bs-livrosDestaque.css” the first file css loaded.
