WP slideshow help

  • # August 12, 2010 at 7:04 pm

I’ve spent the past several days searching for a solid WordPress slideshow plugin.

There are two things that I would like for it to do.
    1. Display on a page (easy enough)
    2. Allow me to create a slideshow and then choose which photos I want to place in it from the media upload screen.

I don’t want every image to be in this slideshow. It seems like it’s an all or nothing option with all the plugins I’ve tried so far. It’s important that I be able to choose which pictures go into the slideshow from the upload screen because my client will be updating it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Not a wordpress plugin, but SimpleViewer in combination with FlickrViewer will pull photos from flickr based on a tag if you’d like. http://www.sweeting.org/mark/flickrviewer/

You can see an example of it here: http://gallery.brookstonestudios.com/

Thanks for the reply. However I found a plugin called ‘NextGEN Gallery‘ it does just about all that I want it to.

    Thanks again.
