    Hey everyone,

    Finishing up my first wordpress/responsive site, and would really like some tips to help me improve.

    When I opend the site my eye fell on the menu on the top right and I thought “I don’t like that menu”. I’m not sure why thought. I like the rest ;)

    I agree with JoniGiuro here.

    The latter is great. Im just not sure about the styling on the menu, as its rather dark on the selected option, making the writing difficult to read.

    I think the menu looks fine except that I assume it’s the home page which is on the far right of the menu instead of the far left as is ‘standard’. Also, the hover/active states could use a little work.

    Perhaps changing the text color to white to show up better against the deep ‘shadow’?

    I’m also thinking that the h2 tags ‘This Week’ & ‘Random’ should have the same width as the elements below.

    Also, right-aligned text looks odd to me. I’d either center it or left-align it.

    I do need to get more practice particularly with gradients.
