I’m looking to add mobile swipe support to the content slider at the top of a page. I’ve been doing some research online and can’t seem to find something that works. However, my knowledge of jQuery and JavaScript is limited as some of you will easily I’m sure be able to tell (I’m currently taking online courses through my local college) – so I may merely have missed something critical in my reading.

All related JavaScript is within the page mark-up. The stuff in the header, as you’ll see, is an attempt from one site to make it work. It didn’t.
I’m open to and welcome direction, nudging, and/or rebuke of all varieties. Anything that might help.
