static background images

    Hi there, desperate for help. I have a drawn image created in Photoshop CS which I want use as a background image for my home page on my website which is being created in DW I would ideally like to sit tight on the page without scroll bars. Very simple page with a few links bottom left. I have tried re-sizing in PS,72dppi and have used every combination of size possible but it’s either too big and causes the image to start tiling or too small leaving a white border around the edge. It was suggested to me that CSS-tricks could help, so anyone out who can help I would be grateful.
    Thanks Vicky.

    Hey, thanks Edwin, have checked them out and it was great to see it working. Will be tearing my hair out over the next couple of days trying to make it work, but at last I know it can be done.
    Thanks Vicky.
