Hello.
I recently experimented creating a single page website: [http://www.electromueblestony.com](http://www.electromueblestony.com “Sample page”) and would like add two things:
1. When user clicks on a menu item, which takes it to an anchor, I would like that item to be the active or selected item on the nav.
2. I would like to have a smooth slide to the section or anchor.
Thanks in advanced for your time.
a [Javascript](http://www.itnewb.com/tutorial/Creating-the-Smooth-Scroll-Effect-with-JavaScript) only version
and a [jquery one by @Mottie](http://jsfiddle.net/Vk7gB/187/) – that uses the scroll wheel but can be easily adapted to your needs
Ok.
Thanks both, @unasAquila and @Atelierbram for replying.
I’ll take a look a your suggestion.
Thanks again.
The one of Mottie is not working.
I cant see where this: $(‘#nav’).onePageNav(); was defined in the js code.
i mean the .onePageNav, and so it’s not working when copied out of jsfiddle.
