Simple header issue?

Hi
I seem to have a small issue with a site, that keeps bugging me.
I have put my layout in a fluid column layout, but i have made a mistake somewhere in my header.
I doesn’t stick to the left side of the screen.
If I take out my “row” div, the layout of my single page gets jumbled up.
There must be something wrong with my DIVs, but I cannot see where the mistake is.
I hope you can help…

It is difficult to evaluate from external or embedded CSS in the document.
Can you clean up and simplify the code?

first, you should validate – you have 5 errors that are related to the problem.
simply move the header div out of the row div (tested and works).
