    I am trying to set a background image inside a div I have the height set to about 400px and the width to 100%.

    When I set the background image on the div the div stretches to the width of the image and put horizontal scroll bar along the bottom. I want the image to be hidden though and only appear on larger resolution monitors.

    Would appreciate any help with this problem.
