is this website too big?

  • # April 18, 2012 at 7:17 pm

I am designing a website on a 17″ computer and when I went to see what it was like on a small 13″ screen i realized just how big it looks and feels.
    baseshamai.com

is there an easy way to just shrink the website just a bit if its on a small screen?
or do I have to resize all my elements which is annoying but not the worst thing I have ever done…

It looks fine to me on in a smaller viewport although you lose a menu entry (‘other’) under 1084px wide but that’s because that menu seems to be outside of any 960px wrapper.

a nice way to test your site on different viewports:

I use a free app for Windows systems only called SIZER from http://www.brianapps.net/sizer/.

It’s a quick and handy tool. It’s no phone/tablet emulator but for media queries it’s not bad…for free.

    I resize my browser window.

    Or adjust screen resolution.
