I have a menu on my website which is very plain. Both when hovered and when clicked, it’s too plain that it’s even hard to understand that it is a menu.

So I’d like to make it show a button behind the text when hovered and when clicked as well. If possible, I’d like the text color change too.

Please, could someone help? I need this asap!

By the way, here’s my menu:

I’m using a wordpress theme and it has lots of choice to use different color skins, and I chose blue. So I’m guessing blue.css maybe the file I need to edit, code in the link below (forgive me, I don’t know how to insert the code in this forum):

It looks like it has something to do with jqueryslidemenu.css, in case:

Is this website online? Can you send us a link to it as it will be easier to target the specific elements and their class/id names.
