Control Border Height

  • # November 24, 2012 at 5:19 pm

    hell folk,

i seem to have a problem with my navigation, i want to set the border on each list item on my nav with a certain height but have no around it. ive had a look on other forums for answers but they always seem to say use an image as the border although this would be my last resort, i really want to know how to do it in pure css.

as you can see from this image http://imgur.com/VehDv the border is not the full length and this is how i would like my navigation

    Thank you for listening

It can be done without an image but it will mean that the ‘link’ is not the same size as the list item.

If that’s acceptable here’s an example someone else came up with.
