Any Fantastic Form Building Tutorials out There??

So…I am a complete noob when it comes to building forms (I understand the HTML component of it), but I am at an utter loss when it comes to form validation, and then URL redirect upon success form submission. I would really love to learn how to build my own from the ground up (with some supplied JS validator) as opposed to an online form builder which ALWAYS makes your form look completely different from the styling of the rest of your website. Please and thanks.

For the css on the form itself just make everything display inline-block and vertical align middle.
