Last year<\/a>, we kicked out a roundup of published surveys, research, and other findings from around the web. There were some nice nuggets in there, like a general sentiment that the web needs more documentation<\/a>, Tailwind CSS dun got big<\/a>, TypeScript is the second most beloved language<\/a>, and that the top one million sites are “dismal”<\/a> when it comes to accessibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among many other findings, of course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, as 2021 winds to a close and many of us tend to reflect back on the past year, let’s do that once again. It is pretty interesting to not only see what trends are emerging in our industry (and those adjacent to it) but how those trends, you know, trend<\/em> over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
