I like perfectly cut out images set on flat colors. I spent a good couple years cutting many photo clipping paths a day, so I both like it and cringe at little mistakes.
I like the use of a grid where in each "cell" there is a combo of handwritten and non-handwritten fonts.
I know we web designers like to crap on all-image emails, and usually rightfully so, but sometimes the aesthetic of a brand is such that it's the only way to pull off the complete look.
This is pre-launch so the link probably won't last long. But I like the approach here. Nice design that gives you easily copy/pasteable link to share, and a progress bar which clearly shows what you'll get as you move up it by referring friends.
I like the just-slightly-larger Georgia regular.
How he fades into the smoke with his pipe is amazing.
