    Always use lower case letters, separate letters with a hyphen –

    Found the solution just in case anyone stumbles upon this thread.

    You need to use the imagesLoaded true option.

    I love the Forum personally. I’ve been using CSS tricks since more or less the start, certainly from your first video.

    It’s the main reason I visit these days, usually while I’m here I read the odd post.

    I’d like to see you keep it. I also miss the lodge training you used to do. Over the years I’ve learnt loads from this site and for that I’ll always be grateful no matter what you decide it’s future should be.

    This post should help you out. Should be quite easy to do that.

    A quick hacky way would be just output them all like post 1 and then just hide the category and image with css but you’ll be far better using the correct php.

    You should be able to do this, can’t you just apply it as a background of the input?

    It would be responsive by just filling the input so it would do whatever they are doing if that makes sense.

    Yeah I tried that bearhead but it created an odd looking jump in the content as the menu appeared.

    Anyway I didn’t explore it any further I changed my mark up.

    Thanks for the help though guys I really appreciate it.

    Hi thanks for replying Jeroen.

    I want to set to display none and flex because its a sub menu thats hidden by default until the user clicks to see it.

    It is the UL that Im wanting to use as the flex container. This does reside within another UL but I can’t use that as a flex container as the li’s I’m wanting to target wont be the flex children if that makes sense.

    I’ve decided to re-structure my code now anyway but just wondered what the consensus was on this.

    Thanks

    Richard

    Thanks mate that radial out looks more it although that uses transitions rather than keyframes that doesn’t matter though.

    Out of interest could you see what was wrong with my example?

    Just looked at your site. The button doesn’t even look to be part of the slider it’s just sat over the top.

    Just add the button into the final slide. Or as a dirty fix hide the button altogether and add the button into the image of the final slide then make the whole of the final slide a link.

    I’m on my phone so I can’t look at your html but you should be able to use something like this to hide all but the last item.

    selector:not(:last-child) {

    display:none;

    }

    Remove inline block with media queries and or give things widths.

    You are a complete legend thank you so much!!

    My client loved this design and I was just about to tell him I couldn’t do it. You’ve saved his disappointment.

    Thank you!

    Wow thanks Beverley that was doing my head in. I knew it would be possible with JS but I didn’t want to resort to that and yes I did mean for the heights to match.

    I’m on mobile myself just now but it looks good from what I’ve seen.

    How do this technique make the images scale in unison?

    Thanks so much I really appreciate it.
