I have also noticed that it looks like a missing image graphic or something shows up when you initially hover over the thumbnail. I would be super grateful for any insight into this whole thing. All I want is for the image to enlarge in the middle of the screen when hovered over.
Yes, what we’re doing is taking a design that we created and turning it into a template with certain editable areas for specific page content. Would something like WordPress or Drupal work for large ecommerce sites? I have only played around with WP a little and don’t know the limitations of any CMS out there.
That does make sense. I come from a design background instead of programming, so I’ll be starting from the very basics to say the least! :) Switching gears at 33 years old is a little intimidating, but this is truly what I want to do so I’m willing to do what I have to… I just want to make sure I do it the right way.
Thanks guys for the input.
I just bought a new 27″ iMac (an upgrade from my PowerPC 20″ iMac) and I love it. I have been a Mac user for several years and I just can’t go back. The OS is just far superior for my needs, and you don’t have near the trouble with viruses or spyware on a Mac system. However I do have to admit I haven’t had the opportunity to check out Windows 7 yet. I guess I’m an Apple fanboy, what can I say :)
Anyone have any suggestions on how I could reduce the file size of my larger photos? A couple of them are hitting 260k. That seems pretty large to me, but I could be wrong. The main problem is that I’m using a transparent PNG because I have CSS3 gradients in the background. Anyway, thanks for the advice everyone.
