z-index really freaked it out …

it works fine in :
Code Pen, Chrome, Canary and FireFox

it acts foolish in :
Opera and (surprisingly) IE

all content stays behind the footer (nav) except the video … it jumps in front of the footer (nav) … I tried setting a z-index … but it only made matters worse … :)
