z-index and text selecting

  • # March 17, 2010 at 10:55 pm

Ok, I think I finally get z-index… except for one thing… what do I do with this problem?

I have a transparent PNG that has the highest z-index. In other words, its on top. I want that, because I want my main text to scroll under it, as you’ll be able to see when you visit my prototype page at:

Unfortunately you’ll also be able to see that if you try to select text within the box area of the png file, it doesn’t work properly. Any quick fixes to this? Any fixes at all? Thanks everyone!

If you mean the links they work fine in Firefox, IE8 and IE7. However you have a big gap at the bottom when scrolling in IE7.
