    What the developer is suggesting seems to imply I am pulling the image from another page/post, which is not what I am trying to do. I am uploading to the page in question only which directly corresponds with the template.

    Okay! I see what you’ve done here. You’ve added all of the images to the home page and not each individual pages. So to call the image you’ll have to put in the HOME page ID.
