    I have looked around and can’t really find a good vertical menu (with flyouts for sub pages) layout/template. All the menus seem to be a horizontal with drop downs.

    So please post code/template/theme that has a nice vertical menu system.

    Just create your own with Superfish…just edit your theme and run wp_list_pages and wrap the output in the Superfish UL.
