WordPress Theme for a Photolibrary

Hi all

This question is a long-shot, but….

I want to get the bulk of my photographic images into a personal photolibrary (think Getty, Corbis etc). Whilst there are many wp themes out there for photo galleries I’m struggling to find a theme with the search and display functionality I need to market my work.

Can anyone here help, and point in a positive direction?

Hmmmm. That’s a tough one – I’m not sure WordPress would be the best thing to handle this if you’re getting into a large amount of images.

Hi Doc

You are possibly correct. Maybe I’m being lazy trying to find a theme that will do all that for me. I won’t have a huge amount of images, I’m going for quality not quantity. It’s just that I’m slowly getting into this css thing and I want to set up a real live useful project. I’d be happy to pay for such a theme, and I feel that there is a market out there for one.

What exactly do you want to do? Do you have the ability to code this theme yourself?

Doc Nope. No coding ability apart from a little css for styling

I want to set up an online image library (not a gallery) as per the likes of…

where the image search function will look to the database (or meta keywords attached to my images) and then display the results of the search.
