    I set up a WordPress site to land on a static page and it works fine.
    Problem is that the page title doesn’t show in the browser’s menu bar.
    When bookmarked, the whole URL shows up. Can I change this? Thanks. Larry

    take a look at some of the title logic you see in some themes to display the title differently depending on the page you are in, for example, in Chris’ Blank theme

    Look in your header.php file and find the < title> tag – you should see what’s going on in there.
