WordPress separate image and text in a post

    Hi Guys,

    This must have been asked before, is there a way for wordpress to separate image and text in post using the_content()?

    I have this design and wanted to have my wordpress post look like this //i.imgur.com/BQ0bC.png

    you should use different single template for your content….

    I mean …

    in that blog is a comment from @JustinTadlock, that have a better..mm coolest solution….

    and using

     < ?php the_post_thumbnail(); ?>

    will be a good start

    Thanks for the tip Locke, will check on this one hope it’s not complicated. Let me know if you guys still have other ideas :)

    Setting up your site to use post thumbnails (or ‘featured images’) is quite easy. I just recently did a little article on it here: //code.graygilmore.com/blog/using-wordpress-featured-image-post-thumbnail

    The jist of it:

    Make sure something like this is in your functions.php file:

    if ( function_exists( 'add_theme_support' ) ) {<br />
    add_theme_support( 'post-thumbnails' );<br />
    }

    You can call the image in your template with this:
    <?php the_post_thumbnail(); ?>
