WordPress not Displaying Logo Png

  • # August 12, 2008 at 12:55 pm

I have a site which running is wordpress and have just installed a new theme on it. Layout looks fine except that the png logo file in the header section appears as a blank space.

I’ve typed the url for the image into the browser and it displays. Does anybody have an idea of the likely cause of the problem. Are there any common issues?

It’s hard to guess without seeing something, but maybe it’s a transparant png with a background-color or something like that?

the missing image is a polaroid photo which goes in between the two dummy text sectoins in the head

the image is located at … aroids.png

The image you are linking to in your CSS is: … ariods.png
    but there’s no such url.

    – you need to alter this to the absolute path to: … aroids.png

or determine the relative path to the CSS sheet.
