    hi all,

I’m trying to develop a function that will create a new custom_post_type when a top level menu link is created by the user.

Does anybody have any clue as to where i’d start? i’ve searched every where. I’ve researched Hooks, looked at wp_get_nav_menu_items and pulling the post type from that, if it doesn’t already exist, register_post_type.

i’m completely lost really. Hope someone can help,

    regards,

    Tom.

Off the top of my head, I don’t think you’ll be able to do that simply when a user creates a new page.
