WordPress- How to add a Flash Movie on only Home Page?

Hi Friends!

I am kinda new to WordPress. Was trying to use it as CMS for a project and got struct here….

I tried to add a Flash Movie on home page, just only for the home page but it wouldn’t show up. I tried to add image in the same DIV and it didn’t show up. But when I just added some plain Texts.. it did show up. Is there is any simple way to add a flash movie/image on home page?

What if I want to add a media file to somewhere else then PAGE and POST. I wanted to do add something on index.php. Is there any simple trick?
