I am using a plugin called ‘Media File Manager Advanced’. This plugin allows me to move media files to the folders of my choosing within the uploads directory.

The problem is I’m uploading hundereds of images for a client and a lot of them don’t have great file names that can be searched on so I’ve organised them into a nice folder structure.

The problem now is the client can’t filter the media library by the folder name. Do you know of any plugin or code that can make this happen.

    Thanks
    Steven

I’m not sure how to do it in WordPress honestly, but there are a few ways of doing it in stock PHP so you could potentially write a plugin to do it for you.

Is that something you’d be willing to take on? If not, you can try searching for a plugin to do exactly that… the community is so large, I bet it’s out there.
