    Hey everyone!

    I am asking if you guys have a good workflow for adding Custom Post Types in WordPress? There seems to be a lot of small things to take care of such as:

    • logical pretty urls (also for custom taxonomies, categories and archives page)
    • highlighting current menu-item when on a single product page or archives etc. (not only a CPT problem)
    • widgets showing CPTs and their archives

    I found a nice post about pretty urls on single post and archive page, but I still have problems with displaying archives with nice url for example.

    I think this subject is vital, if WordPress is to become a better CMS. Right now it all seems too complicated.
