I am working on a project where I have a CPT called Departments and this uses a single-department.php template with custom fields to populate the content on the page as needed. However, one issue I am trying to figure out logistically is tying galleries to these departments. Basically, a department may or may not have a gallery associated with it, this gallery would require it’s own template, so I’m wondering, do I create a CPT for Galleries and just link them that way? Is there a better way to associate the galleries with the Departments CPT?
