    I’m getting jitter on a background image with fixed position only in IE on Windows 8 while scrolling.

    I’ve tried to create a codepen to illustrate the problem but could not recreate the issue.

    The issue is on the main background image of the runner. Turning off smooth scrolling in IE fixes the issue, but of course most users will have this on by default.

    Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

    Where’s your CodePen?

    If you can’t recreate it there, comparing the two should give a good answer where to look.

    I’ll try to recreate the codepen later today and be sure to save the url.

    Seems to be similar to this: goo.gl/01BfJE

    The jitter only happens using the mouse to scroll, not using the right hand scroll bar or clicking a smooth scroll link.
