Hello everyone! Hope, this is the right place to ask my question.
I’m a beginner in web-design and just trying to figure it out how to start creating a web-site layout in Adobe Illustrator. All articles and video courses on the web cover only 960px and 1000px grid systems, and web-sites of all those authors are bound into 960px and 1000px. But what if I want to create a web-site which is much wider than 1000px. Something like this one I’m writing my question on?
Some say that 1000px grid is perfect to design a site that fills a wider portion of the screen, but I can’t figure it out how to use it the right way. Developing a 1000px-wide site I can’t imagine it to fit wider screens the way I see it.
Any hint or advice or even a comprehensive and detailed response would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
