Why does codepen not have private messaging between members?

    Why would it need it?

Do any other such coding sites have messaging?

    To send private messages.

    No ideal.

I agree that it could be helpful. I’ve seen pens where I wanted to contact the author to ask about something specifically. It’s a valid question, I think.

Not really relevant, is it? ;)

I think, if you make a concerted effort by rooting around the user’s profile you can often find links to contact them…perhaps not on Codepen but often via their profile at Github.

We used to have a PM function here but that went away about the same time as the forum software switched.

I usually work on the basis that if people want to be contactable they’ll leave the information somewhere it can be found.

You can also leave a comment on the pen to contact the member…

    I was just curious.

    Thanks guys.

Maybe I should have directed this to Chris?
