On this page, the title is horizontally centrally aligned. I’ve tested this in the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Opera and IE on Windows (as well as Sarfari 5.1 for Windows).
However on Safari on my iPad, it appears left of center. I really can’t work out what’s going on – and I have looked several times using firebug to try and sort this out. (Screenshot attached.)
I would be really grateful for some suggestions to try to fix this. I’m hoping it’s something simple I’ve missed.
I’m really grateful that you took the time to suss this one out for me. I really couldn’t see it, and yes, it was buried right at the end of the css file in the media queries section.
In the end I did what I have been thinking of for some time now: not using an image for the header, just text. Centering that is as easy as text-align: center.
My site is now more minimal than ever, and I’ve cut lines and lines of unnecessary code away. Thanks for that push in the right direction.
